Hello! I’m a postgraduate student and experienced AUT tutor specializing in English and essay writing. With a strong academic background and hands-on tutoring experience, I help students of all levels—from high school to university—improve their writing, boost their confidence, and achieve their academic goals. I aim to make learning English and essay writing structured, practical, and engaging. My approach combines clarity, feedback, and real-world practice, tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building skills gradually so students gain confidence while improving their writing and communication abilities.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:

Structured lesson plans: Each session focuses on specific skills, such as essay structure, argument development, grammar, or vocabulary.
Interactive learning: Encouraging questions, discussions, and exercises to keep lessons engaging.
Practical exercises: Students practice writing essays, paragraphs, and summaries with real-time feedback.
Step-by-step improvement: Lessons are designed to identify weaknesses, reinforce strengths, and track progress.
Adaptable approach: Lessons are tailored to the student’s level, goals, and learning style.
Typical Lesson Length:
Lessons usually run 60 minutes, but I can adjust to 30 or 90 minutes depending on the student’s needs and focus areas.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Health Science and currently pursuing postgraduate studies.
Tutoring experience at AUT, assisting students with academic writing and English skills.
Experience mentoring peers and providing one-on-one academic support.
