About Alec
Hi, I'm Alec! I am currently pursuing an Honors Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Life Sciences at uOttawa. I’ve always been passionate about learning and helping others achieve their academic goals, and I began tutoring when I was just 16 years old. What sets me apart as a tutor is my diverse teaching experience across multiple companies, ranging from teaching AP and IB courses to university-level subjects, as well as working with younger students in middle and high school. This has given me years of experience in adapting my teaching style to meet the needs of a wide variety of learners. This range of experience allows me to connect with students at any level, ensuring they receive the guidance they need to excel. My goal as a tutor is to inspire confidence in my students, helping them not only understand their coursework but also enjoy the learning process. I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges head-on. My Approach as a Tutor:
My teaching philosophy revolves around understanding and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to match each individual's learning style and pace.
