About Owen
I am an Economist by trade. I graduated from NUIG in 2020 with an MSc in Environmental Economics and through this I'm following my passion to tackle climate change through alternative avenues! I also hold a B.A. in Economics and Politics from UCC. Quite recently I lived in Germany for more than a year, learning German and working in a variety of bars and restaurants.

Language is tied to poetry, and therefore my teaching methods will revolve around introducing rhyme and flow into all my classes. I have found this to be by far the best way to learn a second language, as I did when I began learning German 5 years ago. Introducing poetry and song along with other engaging elements, I hope to help make learning English exciting and especially fun.
