About Jiwon
I’m native Korean who is really good at teaching. I was study mentor in Middle and high-school. I joined education club for 3 year and volunteered at teaching Korean and English to middle school student. I’m full of passion and positiveness who really like to meet a new people! I think learning a new language need a lots of practice! As a native Korean I can help you with passion and fun. I can teach beginner level to academic level of Korean! Sometime people give up to learn language because it’s boring. However, I will organize the lesson based on your interest and goal to keep your interest in studying Korean:) There’s gonna be not only a study but also a meaningful conversation with me both in Korean and English! Lesson could be in face-to-face in Melbourne CBD or on on-line based on your preference!
I will give an example of 12 week plan to help you understand how will the lesson looks like!
Duration: 12 weeks
Time: every Tuesday 6 to 8
Lesson: On-line
Level: beginner
Interest: K-pop, K-drama
Goal: do the basic conversation with Korean about K-culture
Week 1: level test / pick an textbook / basic conversation reason why pick to study Korean
Week 2: Korean alphabet (consonants/vowels)
Week 3: how to make a syllable
Week 4: korean alphabet (complex vowels/double vowels)
Week 5: final consonant
Week 6: word and pronunciation practice
Week 7: introduce my-self (basic grammar)
Week 8: how are you? / express emotion
Week 9: what is this? / words
Week 10: how can I go there? / words (direction and place)
Week 11: asking and explain the interest
Week 12: rap-up and review the lesson / free conversation
