Hello! I'm Javiera, a first year psychology university student. I am very passionate about teaching and doing history tutoring, as it was one of my favourite subjects when I was at school.

About Javiera
I am Javiera, a psychology student at the University of Chile. As I mentioned before, I decided to start tutoring since one of my great passions in school was history. For me, history always worked as a tale to tell; something that instead of being memorized must be understood. To put it one way, history was my safe place, something I never get tired of studying and understanding; the past is really incredible, and it has great consequences for our future. Furthermore, I think I have high aptitude for this job because in addition to feeling a great passion for tutoring, I managed to get high scores in the admission tests and was able to maintain an average in secondary education of a range between 6.8 and 6.9.

These moments are very precious, so I always prefer to opt for a flexible modality with my students. I like to talk about the different goals that you may have, and based on this, create a creative and entertaining learning plan, since, after all, this is history and it should be enjoyed! My classes are aimed at students between first grade and 12th grade, being possible to help them with basic knowledge as well as with preparation for the PAES. The purpose will always be to generate enriching learning, where we can dialogue with the roots of our world and understand them from our present.
