I love nothing more than trying to find deeper meaning beneath the words that we read on pages. Words are just like a piece of art: we may all be looking at the same painting, but experiencing it in our own way.
I love learning with people to find those deeper meaning together and I'm excited to go on this journey with you!
I'm also a lover of music. Just like words on a page, I love talking about songs and finding out what they mean to people. Some of my favorite genres are hip-hop, R&B, and jazz! I'm always happy to talk music.

My approach is personal and collaborative. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to working with people. After a few moments of getting to know what your goals are, I will have an understanding of how to work with you to reach those goals. It really helps me if you come into our lesson with a clear objective. Based on where you are so far in your work, I will assess the best way to use our time. That could be writing a detailed outline, coming up with a thesis statement, writing a concluding paragraph, etc.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
I will not give answers or write an essay for you, but I will meet you where you are to find answers together!
Also, depending on the assignment, make sure you have put in the individual work needed to begin a lesson. For example, if you need help writing about a certain subject or book chapter, you need to have done that reading or research before the lesson.
