Hello! I specialize in working with children from preschool up to age 8. I have a gentle approach and do my best to engage children in the learning experience. I tutor all subjects up to second grade.

About Sarah
I have 8 years of experience working with children. I went to school to explore the child development field, and ended up falling in love with early childhood education. I was fortunate enough to study at Santa Barbara City College’s Orfaela Early Learning Center, one of the top early childhood programs in the country. I enjoy teaching all subjects covered in the curriculum from preschool, to Pre-K, to TK, to elementary school!

I understand that everyone learns in a different way, the main reason I got into teaching is because I had too many teachers growing up that only knew how to cater to one type of learner. My goal is to work with the natural curiosity children have and engage them in the academic experience. I never want children to feel discouraged, every child is capable, we just have to find their learning style and what works for them!
