About Anas

Hello There! My name is Anas Bara I`m currently a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Central Lancashire. I`m from Dominica but I was raised and taught in Dubai. My passion is helping others and it is one of the reasons I chose medicine as a career. During high school, I struggled a bit due to bad tutors and teachers so I had to do everything on my own. This inspired me to become a tutor who can help other students achieve better grades and pursue their careers.

About the lesson

My teaching methods depend on my students learning style, if I see they respond to visuals I draw out what I am teaching so that they can visualize everything I am saying. If they respond to audios then I teach the lesson as a lecture. Furthermore, if they learn better through applying what they’ve learnt then I teach in an exercise-based manner. By giving them exercises to do and doing exercises with them (assisting them without giving them the answer. My teaching style varies because I believe every student is different and their strengths vary, schools already treat everyone as equals so my expertise lies in treating my students as individuals. My typical length of a lesson is around an hour to an hour and a half per student. I have finished my NCUK qualification which is comparable level to GCE A Level with an A* in Chemistry A in biology and math.
