About Hana
My name is Hana and I come from the Czech Republic. I have started learning English in my home country when I was very young and basically haven't stopped since. I came to Ireland to study at university and since I have experience from both sides as an English teacher but also the learner I thought I could help other students who might be struggling language wise after moving to a new country.

I have experience with teaching at multiple levels across all age groups and many nationalities. I can help with all the aspects of language learning such as: listening, reading, writing and speaking and pronunciation. I have been tutoring English for a year and in that time I helped prepare my students for both school exams and real life situations. I can also offer help to non-native English speakers studying at university in Ireland and struggling to understand their lecturers and peers. I use the CLT approach (communicative learning teaching) which prepares students for use of language in real life situations and learning grammar in practice. This approach is taught at my university where I am currently doing my English language degree. One lesson lasts 50 minutes.
