About Utkarsh

I am a musician at heart as I have been playing several instruments over the last 7 years and always strive to learn more and more. Teaching to me is a greater form of self learning as each person perceives music and sounds in their own unique way. I intend to harness that potential subjectively and devise the proper learning methods for my students. I am currently pursuing sound design which is a much wider field and requires a much higher understanding of sounds and it's co-existing relationship with the environment. I am 21 Y.O, young at heart, easy to talk to and fun to be around.

About the lesson

I have learnt from different people, used different methods. Self learning has also been a big part of my curriculum.
My teaching starts with identifying the musical potential of the student. Music is a lot more than just choosing an instrument to toy around with. Each individual interested in learning music needs to find the right and suitable branch for themselves, for eg. a student might have an innate aptitude for rhythm, learning percussion in that case will be a wiser option as it would come naturally to the kid and make it more comfortable for him/her. This does not mean that they cannot choose, they are still free to choose otherwise, we can always work a way around it :)
Years of playing and different forms of learning methods makes me focus on what I missed as a student more than what I know. This method has proven to be extremely effective in my case as I have been able to come up with certain key-points in learning( hacks, one can say). these key-points are helpful in developing the overall musicianship of the student.
the syllabus will also include western classical theory, the student can appear for grade certificates later too. Sight reading, rhythm structure, time signatures, scales, etc. will be provided to the student for a deeper understanding of the language of music.

1) The schedule of classes is flexible according to the student.
2) At least 4 classes a month are mandatory (1100 per hour). in case the student wishes to have more than
4 classes, the hourly price can e reduced.
3) Cost of travel will only be included at more than 7 km.
