Rachael is an experienced teacher who uses her kind personality and vast knowledge to provide value to her students. She is excellent at building relationships and connecting with students in ways that make the curriculum enjoyable. In addition, she’s is a very effective communicator and makes sure her students are understanding content and growing.

I am Rachael’s sister. Rachael is one of the most hardworking people I know, and that’s not the only reason I think she’s a trustworthy teacher. She listens to her students and is always ready to help them. Her teaching is engaging, while still getting the point of the lesson across, if not in a better way than normal, because of the creativity she goes about her lessons with. I attended a Lego robotics class with her, where she was the teacher. As I observed her teaching, I noticed that her students feel comfortable around her, enough to ask for help, as well as seeming actually interested in the lesson. Just from that short period of time, I could tell that she was a great teacher. Often times, I wish that I had more teachers like her, who were so thoughtful to their student’s education. And no, that’s not just because she’s my sister, but a genuine fact.

Rachael is very caring and nurturing. She has experience with all ages and different walks of life. She has a masters degree in education and many years of teaching experience. She makes lasting impressions on her students. She is creative, patient and will go above and beyond to make sure her students thrive. She is committed to her community. She has great communication skills between both the students and families, making sure that they both grow together.
