About Stephen
Years ago, I started teaching by sitting at a kitchen table in Sydney just helping neighbors refine their accents. That early experience sparked a 13-year career that has seen me guide 125 students through the complexities of language acquisition.
It is funny how a simple interest in sounds can eventually turn into a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics. I have spent these years collecting resources that make sense of difficult French grammar and nasal sounds. Working with such a diverse group of hobbyists and exam preppers has kept my methods sharp. I am quite confident that we can find the right rhythm for your specific learning needs.

Your first session will be a direct assessment of your current writing skills and your comfort with spoken dialogue. I prefer to jump right into role play because it forces you to use the language in real time. We will cover everything from interview preparation to the nuances of DELF exam requirements. I keep my methods simple while we navigate verb conjugation and those tricky liaison sounds.
