About Nadine
Hi, I’m a passionate and experienced tutor with a strong academic background in English, linguistics, anthropology, and creative writing. I recently completed a master’s degree (MSc) in Anthropology, Environment, and Development at University College London (UCL), following a First-Class Honours degree in English Language and Creative Writing from Lancaster University. I’ve been tutoring since 2015, starting at the age of fifteen, and since 2022, I’ve been tutoring alongside my studies and work. My lessons focus on building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and making learning enjoyable. I use a mix of videos, slides, activities, and games to suit different learning styles and ensure engaging, interactive sessions. I can tutor a wide range of subjects up to A-Level and support university students with English, linguistics, anthropology, and more. At the moment, I’m taking a short break from full-time work to focus on tutoring and explore career opportunities in research, policy, and law. I’m also beginning a volunteering role as a Research and Campaigns Officer with Citizens Advice. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy running, singing at open mic nights, and writing stories and poems, regularly submitting to competitions. I look forward to helping you build confidence and achieve your goals, no matter the subject!

Let’s make learning enjoyable and effective! My personal style is centred on flexibility and responsiveness. I begin each lesson with a chat about life, studies, and well-being to determine any adjustments needed. Then we move into the main lesson with slides, videos, and exercises. We wrap up by reviewing the week’s self-study and homework, followed by a quiz, summary, or fun game to reinforce learning and track progress. Together, we’ll make learning both fun and rewarding!
