About Katharine
With nearly 20 years of experience as an elementary educator, I have dedicated my career to helping young students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked extensively with 2nd and 3rd grade students, building strong foundations in literacy, comprehension, and academic growth. Today, I specialize in reading instruction, helping students strengthen their fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and overall reading proficiency. My years in the classroom have given me a deep understanding of how children learn, allowing me to tailor instruction to each student's unique needs. As a tutor, I combine proven teaching strategies with patience, encouragement, and personalized support to help every child reach their full potential.
