About Bhinva Ram
I have been very much interested in science from the beginning of my education. During my undergrad, I realized that I must pursue a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics. To do that, I wanted to go for an M.Sc. in physics, so I worked hard and got selected in IIT, Dhanbad for the same. In this course, I got to study plasma physics, and I thought this is really an interesting field to explore but I was not ready to leave my interest in astronomy and astrophysics behind, so I chose a a topic for my research project which was explained by plasma physics but was applicable in various astronomical scenarios such as solar flares and Auroras (southern lights). It was magnetic reconnection. I found it so interesting that my thesis was awarded by the best thesis in the department and got an a+ in it. Also I am currently working on it under my project supervisor at IIT Dhanbad in collaboration with a professor at University of Turin, Italy. In the mean time, I got selected for ISSAA in IUCAA (Inter Universuty Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics) and also got a Gold Honor in IAAC-2019 (International Asrtronomy and Astrophysics Competetion).
Most importantly, during all this time, I realized that I really enjoy explaining whatever I read and I am good at it, so I have decided to start teaching full time after the completion of my education.

My classes are interactive. I do not just teach, I discuss with students weather they are comfertable with the topic or not because it is not a one way process. In addition to this, I link everything I teach with real life examples. I strongly believe that experiments help us to understand better. I use them as much as I can to do so.
