About Josephine
Hey! I’m Josephine Tzur and I am currently a ninth grade high school student. I live in the Bay Area of California but lived in Chicago, Illinois for the majority of my elementary school years. Even though math and English have been two of my most favorite subjects, I struggled with them for a long time. For me, it really helped to talk about what was hard for me and ask for help. Now, even though I am still a dedicated student and am embracing learning new things every day, I have full confidence in these subjects and want to use the tips, tricks, and educational strategies I’ve learned to help you! I’m a hardworking student, I’ve been tutored, tutored friends, and never back down from a challenge. I hope I get the pleasure of working with you and helping you to get to be the best student you can be!

As a person not far from ages between 1st and 6th grade myself, my comprehension of the concepts you need help with is thorough and I utilize empathy in my lessons in order to minimize stress and allow easy learning. I fully understand and take into account that every child learns differently, thus implying that sometimes methods need to be taught from different angles. I can aid your studies in mathematics and English for kids grades 1st-6th. I look forward to working with you!
