About Aparna
Im a Carnatic musician with a masters in Carnatic music, a Kalakshetra and University of madras alumna. Ive been learning carnatic music since childhood and have been teaching online and offline since past few years for people of all ages.

I usually take 4 classes a week or 8 classes a week based on the level of the student.
We must understand that each student is different and their understanding abilities and well as their drawback are different. Hence one cannot follow the same set of syllabus for everybody.
I plan the schedule and the syllabus for every student based on what has to be worked on. The syllabus is further modified based their performance.
These session are pretty intense and serious where a lot of aspects including theory, voice production and intricacies are taught to the student.
I believe in quality over quantity and hence nothing is taught for the sake of it and rather all the lessons are repeated until the student is able to follow and sing the same.
