I always begin my classes by by reminding my students the various aspects of a good learner. Right from how you set your study area to your seating posture , everything counts when it comes to your level of understanding.
I have random conversations my with my students during the initial classes and tries to understand their methods of learning and set a pace accordingly to complete the syllabus.
