About Niyatha
I am a lover & student of Indian Classical music and having experienced learning it from a very young age of 5 years, I have been singing for close to 25 years and playing guitar for almost 12 years now. I love teaching as much as I learn to play, and teaching gives me a happiness that I can't express. Can you imagine when my students play the songs that I have creatively with smiles on their faces? that is a big motivation to keep learning! I have experiences playing for hours with my friends, near and dear ones, playing at campsites all night and finally when I had the opportunity to be a part of the Guinness World Records Title winning Cinematic Indian band in 2020, I had just a glimpse of the strength of music in me which I could barely comprehend. And guess what, it's the same for you, and I am here to show it to you, through our guitar learning journey!

First of all a warm hi to you I teach acoustic, nylon string guitar, the Ukulele and songs of multiple genres - Bollywood, trending English numbers, covering chord progressions, scales, arpeggios and a lot more. Along with setting a strong foundation for your muscle memory, I enjoy creating a nurturing space and course-correcting your limiting mindset so you can tap into your hidden limitlessness when it comes to learning and playing the guitar. As we develop your mindset for practice, performance & presentation, I ensure I am watching over you as you persevere through the learning curve, with a blend of playfulness and discipline. I handhold you through it all, I ensure there is a strong theoretical base with every practical lesson so that the foundation gets imprinted in my student's understanding so he/she can be self-reliant with their know-how at any point in time, today or 10 years later. My insight into your unique learning style helps me build a tailor-made course for you, and I am a daredevil so I will push you beyond your comfort zone because I've got your back
