About Minh Khoa

Hello, my name is Minh Khoa, and I am an Electrical Engineering (Honors) student at The University of Queensland.

I am passionate about mathematics and physics and enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging. I became a tutor because I find it rewarding to help students understand difficult concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals.

My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the confidence needed to succeed in both school and future studies.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Minh Khoa, a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) student at The University of Queensland, specialising in Electrical Engineering. I offer tutoring in Mathematical Methods, General Mathematics, and Physics for Year 10–12 students.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts rather than simply memorising formulas. I believe that once students understand the reasoning behind a method, they can confidently apply it to a wide range of questions and exam situations.

My typical lessons run for 60–90 minutes, allowing enough time to review previous material, address difficult concepts, and work through practice questions in depth.

I have over a year of experience tutoring senior secondary students in Mathematics and Physics. As an engineering student, I regularly apply advanced mathematical and analytical skills in my university studies, allowing me to explain concepts from both an academic and practical perspective.

My lessons are suitable for Year 10–12 students studying General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, and Physics, as well as students seeking additional support, exam preparation, or extension work.
