About Sarayu
Hi, I'm Sarayu. I’m a high-achieving high school student from a select-entry school with a strong interest in math and helping others learn. I’ve always enjoyed explaining concepts to my classmates and seeing them finally understand something that once felt difficult. That’s what inspired me to start tutoring. I want to make math feel simple, enjoyable, and achievable for every student. Having previously taught younger students, I’ve learned how to adapt my lessons to different learning styles and keep sessions engaging. My goal is to help students build confidence in their math skills and develop a genuine understanding of the subject, not just memorize steps.

My tutoring sessions focus on building understanding through step-by-step explanations, visual aids, and plenty of practice questions. I make sure students feel confident with the basics before moving on to more complex problems. I also encourage active learning through asking questions, explaining reasoning, and applying maths to real-life examples to keep lessons engaging and meaningful.
Each lesson typically runs for 60 minutes, giving enough time to review concepts, practice examples, and clarify any doubts.
As a high-achieving high school student from a select-entry school, I understand the challenges of learning maths and know how to explain topics in a clear, student-friendly way. I've also taught students previously so I understand how to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs and make lessons engaging and easy to follow.
My lessons are designed for primary school students who want to strengthen their maths foundations, improve confidence, or prepare for high school.
