Through a friendly approach and knowledge + achievement in a variety of areas, I see myself as an effective (and flexible) tutor, well-suited to helping any student - whether that be general assistance, exam/test prep, or other.
I am a high achiever at uni (and was too with NCEA) with great writing and language skills + experience - gained especially through my legal studies at UoO. This makes me an ideal fit as a tutor for English, Media, and other similar subjects. I have also studied creative writing, media, and criminology papers at uni.
I have had teaching experience in the past through my background in music - aiding piano and theory students.
I can cater to any high-school level (year 9 right through to NCEA level 3).
Typically my lessons are 1-2 hours (although this is flexible), and I charge $40/h. Location is flexible - I can come to you, or meet students elsewhere (e.g. libraries).
