About Sebastian

Hi, I’m Seb. I’m currently studying a health degree and achieved a 4.0 GPA in my first year. Alongside my studies, I facilitate PASS tutoring sessions at university and have experience tutoring with Cluey, supporting students across a range of levels.

I’ve always been interested in how people learn, and I focus on helping students understand content clearly rather than just memorizing it. I aim to make learning feel more manageable by breaking things down into simple steps and giving students a clear approach they can rely on.

I’m patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities. Whether you’re struggling with a subject or aiming for higher grades, I’m here to support you and help you make consistent progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured to help students understand content deeply, not just memorize it. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, digestible steps, then reinforcing them through guided practice and active learning.

Each session is tailored to the student’s needs, whether that’s improving foundational skills, preparing for exams, or building confidence in a subject. I incorporate proven study strategies, including spaced repetition, active recall, and structured problem-solving, to help students retain information more effectively.

I also place a strong emphasis on confidence building. Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they lack clarity and belief in their approach. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can experience consistent small wins.

With experience tutoring through Cluey and facilitating PASS sessions at university, I bring both professional tutoring experience and high-level academic performance (4.0 GPA) into my lessons.

I have known Sebastian since our first year at university, and he has consistently been one of the most impressive people in our cohort. Not only is he a constant class topper who masters even the most difficult material, but he is also an incredibly dedicated mentor to his peers.

Sebastian regularly tutors students in the younger years, and what makes him so effective is his temperament. He is a very chill, composed individual who never rushes the process; he takes his time to explain complex concepts and doesn’t stop until he is certain you fully understand the content.

It is rare to find someone who balances such high-level academic achievement with genuine patience and a willingness to help others succeed. Sebastian is a natural leader and a fantastic teammate, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.
