About Sojal
I’m Sojal Puri, a Year 12 student in Auckland originally from India, with strong Excellence credits across all my subjects. I scored 95%+ in Physics and Chemistry and come from a medical studies background, which means I don’t just know the answers—I understand the “why” behind them.
I teach because I know what it feels like when a topic doesn’t click in class, even if you’re capable. Sometimes all you need is a different explanation, not more pressure. My way of teaching is simple, clear, and slightly different from school—I break things down until they finally make sense, no stress, no confusion.
I work with Year 1–10 students who want to actually understand Math and Science, improve their marks, and feel confident again in class.

Most students don’t struggle with Maths and Science because they’re “bad at it”—they struggle because it hasn’t been explained in a way that makes sense to them. That’s exactly what I focus on changing. I’m a high-achieving Year 12 student with strong Excellence credits, a medical studies background from India, and 95%+ in Physics and Chemistry. I bring a simple, structured approach that breaks complex topics into easy steps, helping students finally “get it” instead of memorising it. My tutoring for Year 1–10 students in Auckland is patient, supportive, and focused on real understanding, confidence building, and lasting improvement in results.
