About Jenet

As a Singing tutor with 8 years of experience, I have helped numerous students improve their vocal skills and achieve their musical goals. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals, offering lessons that are tailored to individual learning styles and objectives.

My teaching philosophy is based on building confidence through consistent learning and positive reinforcement. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and growing as singers. Every lesson is designed to encourage progress and enjoyment.

My lessons include vocal exercises, breathing techniques, pitch correction, rhythm development, tone improvement, and stage performance. I use practical demonstrations, performance opportunities, and personalised feedback to help students develop strong vocal foundations. Students are encouraged to take an active role in their learning process.

Along with Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Music Appreciation. These complementary subjects help students deepen their understanding of music and become more versatile performers. I also focus on vocal health and effective practice habits.

My goal is to inspire students to believe in their abilities and enjoy the process of learning music. Through dedication, creativity, and encouragement, I help learners reach their highest potential.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Singing focuses on building strong vocal skills while developing confidence and stage presence. Through flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management, I provide students with a well-rounded and supportive learning experience.

I begin by identifying each student's strengths, challenges, and musical goals. This allows me to create customised lessons that support their individual development. Every lesson is adapted to match the student's pace and learning style.

Creativity is an important part of my classes. I use a variety of vocal exercises, musical activities, performance simulations, and song interpretation tasks to make learning engaging and effective.

Students learn breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, articulation, tone quality, vocal projection, and emotional communication. Practical exercises help students apply these skills directly to songs and performances.

Understanding and patience are central to my teaching philosophy. I encourage students to learn confidently and view mistakes as opportunities for growth.

Time management helps maximise learning during every lesson. Sessions are structured with clear goals and include warm-ups, technical training, song practice, and performance preparation.

Besides Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Care, Sight Singing, and Music Fundamentals. My goal is to help students become confident performers and lifelong learners of music.
