About Thakhani
Hello everyone,
My name is Thakhani Ndwammbi, and I’m your tutor here to guide you through the sometimes tricky but incredibly rewarding world of accounting, costing, and related subjects. I studied at the University of Venda in Limpopo, where I navigated the challenges of university life, including pushing through tough modules, borderline decisions on honors eligibility, and exploring pathways like becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). Coming from Thohoyandou and deeply rooted in our local context, I’ve experienced firsthand what it’s like to grapple with these concepts as a student from a similar background—facing the same pressures, time constraints, and questions that many of you have right now.
What I love most about tutoring is seeing that “lightbulb” moment when something finally clicks for you. I enjoy it because I remember how frustrating it can be when textbooks or lectures move too fast or skip the “why” behind the numbers—whether it’s understanding cost drivers in Activity-Based Costing, why certain products absorb more overheads, or connecting theory to real South African business scenarios. Tutoring lets me break things down patiently, step by step, in a way that feels supportive and relevant to your lives here in Limpopo and beyond. Nothing motivates me more than helping you build real confidence, overcome those hurdles, and not just pass but truly understand and apply what you’re learning. We’re in this together, and I’m genuinely excited to be part of your journey!
