About Bryan

I'm a certified science teacher with hands-on classroom experience in Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology. I know exactly where students get stuck in these subjects, and more importantly, how to get them unstuck. Whether you're a high school student tackling sciences or a college student fighting through pre-nursing A&P, I'll meet you where you are and build your confidence alongside your understanding. I'm patient, reliable, and available evenings and weekends when you actually need help.

My teaching method and techniques

I'm a certified, highly effective science teacher with classroom experience teaching Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology at the high school level. My approach is built around one core belief: confusion is almost never the student's fault, it's a sign the concept hasn't been understood in the right context yet. I start every tutoring relationship by diagnosing where the breakdown happened, then work backward to rebuild understanding from the ground up. I use real-world examples, visual breakdowns, and active recall techniques rather than just re-reading notes. If something isn't clicking, I have multiple ways to explain it until it does.

What sets me apart
Beyond having taught these exact subjects in a classroom, I spent two years in a fast-paced tech startup where communication, clarity, and getting complex ideas across quickly were non-negotiable. That sharpened my ability to explain things efficiently to people with no background in a subject. I'm also available evenings and weekends — when most students actually need help — and I don't cancel. Reliability matters when you have an exam coming up.

I specialize in students who feel like they're falling behind or hit a wall with the material — particularly:

High school students in Chemistry, Biology, or Anatomy & Physiology.
College students in pre-nursing or pre-med tracks — especially those tackling A&P I and A&P II, which are make-or-break courses.
Adult learners returning to school for nursing or allied health programs.
Anyone prepping for the HESI, TEAS, or similar nursing entrance exams.
