My teaching is student-centered and built on active learning. I focus on helping students: Understand the “why” behind writing choices (not just the “how”). Techniques include: Sentence deconstruction for grammar and clarity. Graphic organizers for essays and arguments. Real-world texts (articles, ads, social media posts, literature) for applied learning. Rubric-based peer/self assessments to build metacognitive skills. Who the Lessons Are For?
