About Angelina

Hi! I am Angelina. I teach because I love the process of watching someone grow in their confidence as they are tackling and breaking down a concept that seemed complex in the beginning. Teaching for me isn't just about academic content, it's about helping students develop a mindset of learning which is why I focus on building a solid foundation of knowledge, while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. My approach to tutoring is personal and flexible, I believe that every student has their own unique way of learning and my role is to tailor my teaching to fit their individual goals and needs.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring focuses on a student centered environment that adapts to the individual's needs, strengths and goals. This starts with building rapport and trust,learning about their interests and learning styles helps create a comfortable environment where the individual feels safe to ask questions and make mistakes. Understanding the individual's short term and long term goals is also a key component in customizing learning plans that revolve the individual's preferred learning style. Finally, student feedback is always appreciated.
