About Andrew
As your next tutor, I hope to share the knowledge that I have acquired in my years of education in Ontario. I am a recent high school graduate with a 98% average and I know how hard it can be to achieve success when the right support is not available. I hope to make your educational journey easier and most importantly, more enjoyable with my interactive teaching methods that will help you tackle all of those little obstacles in your path to future success. I am confident that my 4 years of volunteering experience in teaching varying age groups, dedication to students, and 11 years of Ontario education will provide you with all of the tools you need to be the best version of yourself.

As a high school graduate, I am looking to help out math, physics, and chemistry students from grades 1 to 12 through my experiences in the Ontario education system. I implement visual and repetitive techniques to demonstrate how to perform a task and allow students to practice and apply those skills by taking on relevant problems.
Typically, I will start by briefly introducing a particular topic given using notes and research I prepare. This is followed by taking on the student's difficulties with the topic by addressing specific questions from the student and checking over their homework to discover potential areas for improvement. Based on the trends, I would go back to teach new skills and tricks to improve. This would be followed by individual questions for the student to complete alone (Practice makes perfect!) while encouraging them as they take on more challenging questions. Finally, I will assign some practice that may be completed at home while getting some feedback from the student about how they feel about the lesson after the session.
I believe that my interactive teaching methods and willingness to prepare as hard as possible to meet your needs makes me the right tutor for you.
