About Ty
Hi, my name is Ty. I’m a dedicated and patient math tutor who enjoys helping students understand concepts that may seem confusing at first. I take pride in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through problems step by step.
I focus on clear explanations, practical examples, and building confidence so students can solve problems on their own. My goal is not only to help improve grades but also to help students feel more confident in their math abilities. I’m reliable, prepared for every lesson, and committed to helping each student reach their academic goals.

My name is Ty, and my approach as a math tutor is focused on making difficult concepts simple and easy to understand. I start by finding the student’s current level and identifying the areas they struggle with most. A typical lesson begins with reviewing a concept, followed by step-by-step examples and practice problems where I guide the student through the thinking process. I focus on explaining why methods work, not just how to solve the problem. My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students who want to improve their understanding of math, raise their grades, and build confidence solving problems independently.
