About Saba

Hi! I’m a high school student and math is my favorite subject. I love how it makes you think in new ways, and I want to help K–7 students enjoy it and actually understand it too. I’m new to tutoring, but I take it seriously and make sure every lesson is clear, helpful, and stress-free. I like to break math down into simple steps and go at a pace that works for each student. I’m patient, approachable, and happy to answer any questions. There’s no judgment if something doesn’t click right away! I understand that math isn’t a favorite or easy for some. My goal is to create a positive, focused, and fun learning environment where students feel confident and supported while building their math skills. The time for lessons will vary, usually from about 4:30 PM to around 7:30 PM

About the lesson

I’d like to keep things simple and stress-free. When I teach math, I break everything down into easy steps and explain it in a way that actually makes sense to K–7 students. I’m patient, I never rush, and I always encourage questions. There’s no pressure, no judgment.

I’d start by checking in on homework or any topics that feel confusing. Then we work through the concepts together using examples, practice problems, and whatever style works best for the student. At the end of each session, we do a quick review to make sure everything clicked before moving on.

Since I’m a high school student myself, I still remember what it’s like learning these topics for the first time. That helps me explain things in a way younger students really get. I’m easy to talk to, I create a relaxed learning space, and I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace.

My lessons are for K–7 students who need help with homework, want extra support in math, or just want to feel more confident in class. Whether they’re struggling or just want to get ahead, I’m here to help them feel stronger in math.
