WHAT LESSONS ENTAIL:
in-depth instruction of sight-reading, sight-singing and solfege
understanding key signatures and time signatures
learning to read sheet music and understanding notes and rhythms
practicing the “details” of musicality- dynamics, vowels, consonants- the important elements of making music rather than just the technical work
learning different styles of music from western classical to pop songs
MY TEACHING STYLE:
I emphasize personalized learning and will tailor my lesson plans to my student’s needs
I encourage questions, because asking questions can be the best way to learn!
I use lots of visuals to help the student understand concepts, this includes presentations, infographics, or videos
I aim to target trouble spots that students face, whether it's singing or sight-reading, and work on it until they improve

My lessons are dedicated to providing fun, energetic, and interesting choral music lessons for students in elementary or middle school who have a desire to learn choral music in-depth and improve their singing abilities.
