About Varsha

Hello there! My name is Varsha Madishetty and I am an English and Mathematics tutor. My main goal as a tutor is to not only inspire you to be the best you can as a student, but also to teach you what it means to be successful in anything in life! My motto is that dedication is important in learning any subject to its fullest capacity! I believe that with hard work and persistence, I can help you reach your goals as a student.

About the lesson

To truly access that the student(s) I am tutoring is benefitting from my provided lessons, I like to hold a mini pop quiz every 2-3 tutoring sessions with material on what we went over in past sessions. Over my last experience tutoring, I found this method to not only improve a students ability to obtain knowledge in a timely manner but also be able to improve their quick thinking skills which is emerging as an important skill to have in today's society. I believe that it is an honor to be a tutor as I can help the future generations to improve in many more ways than one and help show them that to be successful in life, it is okay to fall down as long as you can learn from your mistakes and rise to the top! What sets me apart as a tutor is that I love to motivate my students whenever possible. Whether it is starting out our lessons with a motivating quote or helping may students out in moments of struggle in a subject, I want to always be there for my student and help them be successful in whatever they want to pursue in life! A typical lesson plan my class would be starting off with is any school assignments they got from a teacher. It would be preferred that they also bring a school textbook/workbook to improve the efficiency of our lessons together. After we have finished off the school work together and the student feels comfortable with the material, I will ask the student to look at their lesson plans for school to see any upcoming topics that they may find themselves struggling with in the future! Lastly, I will assign them homework by emailing them assignments to finish by the next class. This will improve their timeliness in completing assignments and also benefit them in a school setting! Lastly, I would like to include that these lessons are for grade levels 1st - 10th grade and the subjects I teach are English reading and writing as well as Algebra!
