About Tanmay
My name is Tanmay, and I take tutoring seriously because I know how important it is for students to feel confident in math. As a dedicated high school student who has already completed advanced math for my grade level, I have a strong understanding of the topics I teach. I focus on being patient, clear, and professional so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I always prepare for lessons and make sure that my explanations are simple and structured so concepts are easy to understand. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them build confidence and develop stronger problem-solving skills in math.

My name is Tanmay, and my approach as a tutor is to make math simple, clear, and easy to understand so students learn the logic behind problems instead of just memorizing steps. I explain concepts step-by-step and use examples to show how and why methods work. A typical lesson starts with reviewing a concept the student is learning in class, then working through guided practice together before the student tries problems while I help with mistakes and strategies. What sets me apart is that I recently learned these topics myself, so I understand where students usually get confused and can explain ideas in a relatable way. My lessons are designed for elementary students and middle school students. I do best with kids who want to especially
