About Daniel
I am a top student at Christopher High School, currently enrolled in four AP classes as a Junior, while also being the chairman of CHS’ Student Site Council. I maintain a 4.13 GPA, only set to increase with the end of the following semester. I am an Honor member of the National Speech and Debate Association, in which I remain the regional novice Impromptu champion, as well as CHS’ official state alternate for Original Prose and Poetry. I have a multitude of experience in teaching and mentoring, as I was a supervisor for 18 months, in which I learned the balance of professionalism and the fine line between work and fun. Further, I am an editor of the CHS yearbook, as well as being the Varsity Badminton team captain.

For English, I look to gauge a student’s current capabilities first, especially in the case of oratory prep. Following such, if a student has a specific work to be written or edited, I look to apply effective commentary, whilst including the student in the discussion, explaining why something does or does not work. For History, I look to focus on a specific period, usually aligned with any assignments. Thus, a typical lesson would include a review of any concurrent works, as well as lessons for future writing. My experience in writing and performing speeches is the distinct root of my capabilities, as it allows me to truly comprehend what does and does not flow within a written work. My experience in history stems from my education, as I received a perfect score on the AP World History Exam, and I am currently taking AP United States History. These lessons are for absolutely anyone, from an early student to a college attendee, I am capable of supporting any student in their writing endeavors.
