About Ayla

I’m a passionate and driven high school student with over three years of chemistry experience, including two intensive Georgetown University courses in forensic, biochemistry, and organic chemistry. Alongside my academic focus, I have a love for the arts — from drama to character design — which helps me bring creativity and energy into my lessons. I’ve taught chemistry and math in my school’s after-school program, and I’m committed to making each session engaging, approachable, and tailored to your needs. My goal is to help you not only improve your grades, but also feel confident and inspired in your learning journey.

About the lesson

believe chemistry is best learned when it’s connected to the real world, so I use examples from forensic science, biology, and everyday life to make concepts stick. I break down complex topics into small, manageable steps, using visuals, practice problems, and clear explanations.

Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Warm-up – quick review of the previous lesson or key concepts.
2. Concept Breakdown – simplified explanations with analogies and diagrams.
3. Practice & Application – guided problem-solving and real-life examples.

What Sets Me Apart:
I’m a high school student who has completed two intensive chemistry courses at Georgetown University, with 3 years of chemistry study. I’ve taught chemistry and math in my school’s after-school program and out of school; so I know how to explain concepts in a relatable way for younger learners.

Middle school and high school students who want to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or explore chemistry in more depth — including forensic, biochemistry, and organic chemistry. Lessons can be tailored for beginners or advanced students.
