About Đặng
Hi, my name is David and I am a first year Medical student at the University of Dundee. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry in my A Levels and got all 4A*. I believe all of these qualifications and my passion have prepared me well to teach all these subjects. My goal would be to understand your targets in each subject. This is an essential first step to help me personalise each lesson that suits your learning style and needs. After learning a topic, I would assess your knowledge using past paper questions and give detailed feedback on your strengths and weaknesses. I would also be happy to advise on any admission process, as well as offer extra help on personal statements! I am looking forward to meeting you, and I am highly motivated to guide you towards success!

I aim to understand each student as much as possible to make sure I meet their needs. The initial lesson will be an introductory lesson where I listen to your progress in the subject and which areas you find difficult and need consolidation. After that, I will answer any questions that they have about the admissions process while identifying what they need in subsequent lessons, ensuring they are highly motivated and helping them have the best tutoring experience for their needs. In the next lessons, we will dive into the topic in an interactive manner, and I will guide you through different past paper questions for this topic. To conclude these lessons, I will give you past paper questions to test your knowledge and provide detailed feedback on what you did well and what could have been better. I will also spare some time for questions at the end, as well as set a small homework for consolidation. Each lesson will last around 1 hour. I was a peer mentor in my Sixth Form school, and I really enjoy teaching and helping my peers so they can understand A Level concepts better. I am looking forward to helping you to become more confident and successful with your subjects!
