About Kiva
As a Singing tutor with 13 years of experience, I have successfully guided many students towards becoming confident and skilled singers. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals, helping them develop vocal techniques, musical understanding, and performance confidence.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe students learn best when they feel encouraged and challenged at the same time. Therefore, I customise my lessons to meet individual needs and ensure continuous progress.
My lessons include vocal training, breath control, pitch accuracy, rhythm exercises, tone development, diction, and stage performance. I use practical demonstrations, interactive exercises, and performance reviews to help students gain hands-on experience and strengthen their abilities.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Song Interpretation. These complementary subjects help students build a strong foundation in music and become more versatile performers. I also emphasise effective practice habits and vocal wellness.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and express themselves through music. My aim is to make learning both enjoyable and rewarding while supporting every learner's personal and musical growth.

My methodology for teaching Singing focuses on developing both technical excellence and artistic expression. Using flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management, I help students become well-rounded singers who can perform with confidence and authenticity.
I begin by assessing each student's vocal strengths, challenges, and goals. This information helps me create customised lessons that support their individual growth and musical aspirations.
Creativity is woven into every lesson through vocal exercises, song analysis, musical storytelling, and performance activities. These methods encourage students to connect emotionally with music while strengthening their vocal abilities.
Students learn breathing support, pitch control, rhythm accuracy, diction, vocal resonance, expression, and stage performance skills. Lessons are designed to provide practical experience and steady improvement.
Understanding and patience allow me to adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner. I strive to create a positive environment where students feel encouraged to explore their potential.
Time management ensures that lessons remain focused and productive. Sessions include warm-ups, technical training, song practice, and performance coaching.
Besides Singing, I can also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Care, and Music Appreciation. My goal is to help students achieve both technical mastery and artistic confidence.
