About Charlotte
I have a first-class undergraduate degree and Masters degree in English Literature, and am a trained teacher of English. I have taught English Literature and English Language in schools in the UK and internationally for 8 years, and have also worked as a tutor offering private lessons to native and non-native speakers for the past 6 years. I specialise in teaching students with English as an additional language, helping them to improve their spoken or written English and prepare for a range of language examinations, including Cambridge and IELTS.

It's difficult to learn if lessons are boring or repetitive; therefore, I work hard to make my sessions as fun and as relevant as possible to help you make maximum progress in our time together. My classes are more than just textbook learning.... In our very first session together, we will discuss what you hope to achieve from tutoring and a personalised course outline will be created for you to help you achieve your goals. The aims and expected outcome of each session will be very clear, and detailed feedback on your progress and ways to improve further will be provided at the end of each session.
