About KINGA

I am Polish and I have always been driven by my passion for languages and international communication. I am a professional linguist, working as a teacher and translator. I offer online lessons to individual learners' needs (time, level, variety) and I enjoy watching each learner’s development and progress.

My memberships:
- Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (Divisions: Education, Translation, Interpreting);
- Panellist of Cambridge University Press;
-Accredited Examiner and Assessor for Speaking IGCSE ESL, University of Cambridge, UK

About the lesson

I am an experienced classroom teacher, 20 years, having taught in primary, middle and secondary schools, further education college and independent specialist school. My qualifications include: - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) obtained in England & Wales obtained in 2007; - MA degree in English Philology (Language, literary studies, culture, history) as part of Linguistics faculty 2006; - BA (Honours) in English as a Second Language (TESOL) and in Translation and Interpreting 2002; - Postgraduate Diploma in Translation (Level 7), University of Portsmouth 2014; Over the past 20 years I have been working as a school English language teacher as well as a legal Polish interpreter and written translator (freelancer). I offer ENGLISH language lessons and POLISH language lessons ONLINE, in 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes time slots depending on the learners’ needs. Due to my vast experience in teaching I can offer the lessons to all age groups: primary school, teenage, adult. I have been teaching young and adult learners in preparation for: IELTS, C1 Advanced, FCE, IGCSE ESL GCSE in Polish, A-LEVEL Polish I’m passionate about helping students improve their English language skills with confidence. I create a supportive, engaging environment where students can thrive, whether they're preparing for exams, want to do well academically or simply communicate more confidently. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and see students grow in ability and self-assurance.
