About Jayne
With 15 years of experience teaching singing, I help students from school to college develop strong vocal technique, stage presence, and artistic expression.
I combine technical instruction—breath control, pitch, tone, and flexibility—with creative exercises such as improvisation, rhythm challenges, and performance practice.
Lessons are personalised to the student’s skill level and goals, making learning effective, interactive, and enjoyable. My teaching style fosters confidence, self-expression, and a lasting love for music.

My Singing teaching methodology emphasises clarity, creativity, and student growth. Communication is central to my lessons. I explain vocal exercises and techniques such as pitch control, tone production, breath support, and vocal flexibility in simple language so students can apply them confidently.
Creativity is encouraged throughout every lesson. I design interactive warm-ups, expressive exercises, and song interpretation tasks that allow students to explore emotions and develop a personal style in singing.
Cultural sensitivity shapes my teaching. I value each student’s background and encourage exploration of music from different cultures and traditions. This inclusive approach inspires confidence and appreciation for diverse musical styles.
Accountability is built through structured lessons, consistent practice guidance, and progress tracking. I help students take responsibility for their growth. Along with Singing, I teach related subjects such as vocal health, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills.
