About Kennedy

Every voice has a story, and in my singing lessons, I help you tell yours with confidence, technique, and heart. Lessons with me are deeply personal — we shape them around your musical interests, your vocal goals, and your emotional comfort level. Whether you're a curious beginner or an experienced performer, we’ll work together to strengthen your voice and expand your expressive range. We start with your voice as it is — not as it “should” be — and build from there. I teach with flexibility and intuition, meaning I listen not just to your singing, but to how you’re feeling. Some days we’ll focus on breath work and vocal control, while other days we may lean into song interpretation, harmony, or improvisation. I love using storytelling, visual imagery, and even playful exercises to bring out your most natural sound. You’ll learn how to take care of your voice, build stamina, and sing with emotion and authenticity. If you’re working toward a performance or audition, I’ll support you in every step — from vocal technique to stage presence. If you're singing for self-discovery or joy, we’ll keep lessons low-pressure and exploratory. I offer structured guidance for home practice and time management, so you always know how to keep moving forward. I also support you in understanding music theory, navigating harmonies, or even building confidence in front of a mic or camera. No matter your path, my goal is for you to feel proud of your progress, grounded in your voice, and inspired to keep singing.

About the lesson

My singing lessons are guided by a thoughtful balance of communication, creativity, cultural sensitivity, and accountability. Over the years, I’ve found that real progress happens when students feel heard, inspired, and supported—while also being gently challenged to grow.

Communication is more than instruction. I build each lesson around honest conversations that help me understand your vocal goals and emotional connection to music. This helps shape the tone, pace, and direction of our lessons.

Creativity is encouraged from day one. Whether we’re vocalizing to a jazz standard or arranging harmonies to a favorite pop song, I design exercises that help you experiment and grow your musical personality.

With cultural sensitivity, I ensure that the music we explore connects to who you are. I recognize and celebrate the rich diversity in vocal traditions and styles, which helps students sing with both technique and heart.

Accountability is the compass that keeps us on track. I support your journey with goal-setting, constructive feedback, and custom practice guides.

I also teach related areas such as music theory, stage presence, and songwriting—enhancing the overall experience and confidence of every singer I mentor.
