About Max
I am a Highschool graduate wanting to help kiddos with elementary and middle school English, math, and science! I have had my own struggles with focus and not understanding certain teaching strategies, and I wished that someone would help me. Ultimately, I helped myself, and I want to help your kiddos too! I was in the gifted and talented program for 9 out of my 12 years in school, so I am also well versed in logical thinking, deduction, and creativity! I want to help. Those four words are the base of my desire to tutor. I struggled with what I call “beeline learning”. Not one child is the same as the next, and I want to spark excitement and enthusiasm with academic subjects early on. Learning can be fun with the right teacher!

I want to work with whatever style your kid works with best. For tactile learners, I would use blocks to help with understanding math, letter magnets to help with sounding out words, etc. For auditory learners, I would explain things in depth for them and allow room for questions. My teaching style depends on your child’s learning style.
