About Andrew

Hi, I'm Andrew! While this is my first time tutoring mathematics specifically, I've spent 2 teaching Blender and CAD, with a 5-star average of glowing reviews from students who appreciated my patient, clear, step-by-step teaching style.

Teaching 3D modeling and CAD is, at its core, teaching spatial reasoning, logic, and problem-solving — skills that overlap heavily with math. I know how to break down complex, technical concepts into simple steps, adapt explanations to how someone learns best, and keep students motivated even when a topic feels frustrating at first.

I'm now bringing that same approach to mathematics, focusing on all math levels 9th grade to even 1st grade. I have a strong personal grasp of the material from accelerated mathematics in school, and I'm committed to putting in the prep work to make sure every lesson is clear and useful.

About the lesson

I like to teach by example or by giving hints to students rather than just telling them the answer, this helps the students learn to problem solve by themself and learn to know why an answer is. I can help with homework, or school assignment that you don't understand or needs to improve on.

For the lessons we will be going over basic skill and why formulas work, then we will have example problems for you to try to solve, I will assist with the problem if needed. At the end of each lesson I will assign homework for the week with practice problems to work on using formulas and to remember how to do the problems and word problems to work on logic skills.
