About Nevena

I am a professional primary school teacher with 4 years of experience. Before the pandemic, I went to Australia to improve my English and now I have returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina. I really enjoy teaching students online especially during the pandemic period when everybody was stuck on ZOOM. I have a bachelor’s degree as a teacher.

About the lesson

I really like to make my classes student-centered. I like to communicate with my students about what their needs and goals are and then go from there when creating lessons. I give lessons to all levels and age groups. As I was born in the Balkans, I was raised up and taught all there is to know about our Balkan culture. All of my classes will be typically based around a variety of topics which include but are not limited to literature, arts, culture, history and modern-day society. I tailor all of my lessons depending on the student's age and interests. My experience in the field of professional teaching also helps me utilize different methods to adapt and help with youngsters.
