About Priti
My musical journey began in India in 2007 under the guidance of my Guru, and Hindustani Classical Vocal has remained a meaningful part of my life ever since.
Alongside music, I have pursued a career in engineering and research. This unique balance has taught me how to make time for what matters—without letting a busy academic schedule take away from it.
My lessons are designed to bring music, confidence, and calm into a student’s routine—not pressure.
Whether your child is taking their first musical step or you simply want to nurture a lifelong connection with Indian classical music, I would love to help begin your journey.

I believe learning music should be enjoyable, structured, and adapted to each student. With 15+ years of training in Hindustani Classical Vocal, I focus on building a strong foundation while keeping lessons engaging and easy to follow.
My Teaching Approach:
I teach through a combination of theory, demonstration, practice, repetition, and individual feedback. I break concepts into simple steps so that beginners can understand not just what to sing, but how and why it is sung.
A typical lesson includes:
• Voice warm-ups and basic alankara practice
• Pitch and rhythm exercises
• Introduction to Raga and classical music fundamentals
• Guided practice with individual corrections
• Simple practice goals for the next lesson
