About Preeti

Hi! I’m Preeti, a BA Music (Vocal) student with formal training in Hindustani classical vocal music. Singing has been a part of my life for several years, and I really enjoy learning, practicing, and sharing music with others.

I teach beginner-friendly online vocal classes where students can learn swar, sur, alankar, pitch control, basic vocal exercises, Hindustani music fundamentals, and songs according to their interests.

My teaching style is simple, patient, and friendly. I understand that beginners may feel shy or uncomfortable while singing, so I try to create a relaxed environment where students can learn without pressure.

Whether you are completely new to singing, want to improve your basics, or simply want to become more confident with your voice, I would love to help you start your musical journey.

About the lesson

My online vocal classes are designed mainly for beginners who love singing and want to improve their voice and musical basics. No previous classical music experience is required.

In the classes, students can learn basic vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, swar, sur, pitch control, alankar and simple Hindustani classical music concepts. We can also practice Bollywood and light-music songs according to the student's level and interest.

Each class is relaxed, friendly and personalized. I focus on helping students become more comfortable with their voice, improve their pitch and develop regular practice habits.

Classes are conducted online through a phone or laptop. Students only need a good internet connection and a quiet place to sing. A harmonium or tanpura is optional.

Whether you are a complete beginner, a student, or someone who simply enjoys singing and wants to improve, you are welcome to join.
