About Timothee
I am an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge who has been giving lessons to students since 2014. I essentially taught English to middle school students while living in France but have equally helped students with Cambridge applications and essay writing. I have also started tutoring in History, Politics and French when I moved to the UK for University in 2018.

My focus as a tutor has always been to offer tailored sessions to ensure each of my students receives the help and support they need. For this reason I believe that it is important to take the time to find out where my students are at to focus on their specific needs. Depending on the subject, the structure of my lessons will vary; languages require to strike a balance between oral and written skills but politics and history require one to spend more time thinking about concepts and arguments. I always try to place my students in the best conditions to find the answers to their questions instead of simply giving it to them from the start. More importantly, my lessons are adaptable which means that if I realise a specific point is more of an issue than others, I will spend more time on it even if it means not spending as much time on other ones.
