About Ruby
I am a history student at university but have always had a great passion for English, finding it to be the backbone for not only other school subjects, but wider life skills of comprehension and critical thinking. I am a firm believer that English should be fun and enjoyable, and want to continue to tutor to spread my love and passion for the subject. My past experience of tutoring in my local area has allowed me to do this on a smaller scale, but I really look forward to tutoring online so I can further inspire a love for English.

My lessons range from 1 hour to 2 hours based on the student's preference and ideal learning time. I provide tutoring for all ages but specialise in secondary school English. I have worked at tutoring companies before and have tutored personally in both primary and secondary-level English Literature and Language. During my lessons we review school work to aid improvement, work on answers for mock assessments together and independently and review model answers, which I find particularly helpful in improving students' work. I am confident in tutoring all levels and abilities.
